The screenshots were captured on different displays. 1024x600 Waveshare and 1280x720 Official Pi Touchscreen II.

Can i force a different resolution to get the smaller scaling? I’m on 1280x800 waveshare

You can try lowering your screen’s resolution in Raspberry Pi OS https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... splay-mode.

Thanks - does the autobox mode not effect this? you can set resolution there if i’m not mistaken
