Audio Not working Hudiy

So here's the thing.... on boot and connection of the phone (VIA USB) nothing happens. The SINK is defaulting to hudiy_equalizer_sink, but if I switch to bluez_**** nothing happens, wait 3 seconds, switch back to hudiy_equal****** nothing happens....again wait 3 seconds and switch back to bluez, and boom, playback happens. Additionally SINK #'s change randomly.....but fix (listed above with the variable sink #) works every time

Step 1 - Plug in phone and HUDIY recognizes it and starts playing (no sound through head unit) On connection, HUDIY defaults to "hudiy_equalizer_sink"
Step 2 - I set default sink to bluez_output.MACADDRESS (nothing happens)
Step 3 - I set default sink to hudiy_equalizer sink (nothing happens)
Step 4 - I set default sink to bluez_output.MACADDRESS (music starts playing immediately)

Any additional thoughts on what could be causing this behavior?

You can check the solution from this thread viewtopic.php?t=257. It might be related to the echo-cancel module.

Thank you but if I replace the contents of the startup.sh file, it seems like the hudiy software is hanging on the splash screen. Raspbian Trixie boots no problem but when hudiy tries to load, just fluctuating HUDIY flash screen

So I found that if I just simply comment out (#) the Echo-cancel sink in the startup.sh file, it works immediately. I'm finding there is a slight delay (caching?) between the screen and the audio. If I hit next or previous, the tune will continue to play about 2-3 more seconds before reacting to the command. Same if I slide the bar to a different section of the song.
