Hey,
I don't know why yet, but I witnessed 3-4 crashes of hudiy / the whole pi. It happened a few seconds after connecting my smartphone and after the android auto emulation started. For 10-15 seconds everything worked fine, then hudiy crashed and the whole raspberry pi desktop was bugged. No background, no usable mouse, some error icons in the taskbar. I wasn't able to connect via ssh at that moment. Even pressing the pwr_button of the raspberry pi itself threw errors. After rebooting, everything worked fine. I could do this 4-5 times in a row and always a crash.
I wanted to find out whats happening. Now the crash doesn't occur anymore, I didn't change anything. Now its just in my lab environment, but I don't want this to happen in my car. Can somebody tell me where to look for hints? I enabled journalctl Storage=persistent
Does hudiy have its own log? Has somebody had similar issues?

Re: Hudiy Crash Troubleshooting
Are you connecting wirelessly or via USB? It might be a power issue similar to the one from this topic: viewtopic.php?p=195#p195

Re: Hudiy Crash Troubleshooting
Hey,
I am using USB. And yes my error looks exactly the same, buggy desktop with a bunch of warning and error icons in the taskbar. I am already using a usb-hub with external powersupply. The raspberry pi is powered by a 12-5V DC Converter, capable of over 100watts. Do you have any tipps on what else to do?
Can I somehow confirm that its an electrical problem?

Re: Hudiy Crash Troubleshooting
The Raspberry Pi is very sensitive to voltage drops. Even minimal fluctuations can cause various problems, such as USB ports disconnecting, throttling, or even a reset. You need to check how your power supply's voltage behaves under load.
