I tested it with two types of microphone:
1. Ancient Nokia Handsfree mic (single microphone with 3.5mm jack)
2. Dual microphone from Parrot handsfree (2.5mm jack with adapter to 3.5 jack)
Both of them work well enough. I use the one from Nokia HF since it's easier to hide.
