Hello,

First, congratulations to the team about such a piece of software, i am considering buying but haven't decided yet, i was wondering though, can one have a screen in portrait mode, and have the android auto have just the upper half of the screen, and have some widgets have the lower half of the screen? I tried looking in the forum but i didn't manage to find any satisfying answer.

My goal is to have both android auto and some real time information about the car state (battery, current usage, speed).

Thanks.

Hello,
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is possible. In Hudiy, you can freely position the native UI, Android Auto, CarPlay and overlays.

Amazing!
There was one of your screenshots displaying something similar on the website but i wasn't sure.
Thank you, let me just get me a raspberry pi and i'll buy a license, do other microcontrollers, like orange pi and the sort work with it?

Thank you!

I have things working much better!! The Navigation/Maps things is working, and I can log into the Pi cleanly after HUDiy exits, but I still just have 2 issues...

1) How do I get the HUDiy Android Auto widget to be maximized (I'd still want to be able to exit HUDiy though so that I can remote in)?

2) My sound still isn't coming out through my directly attached USB speaker for music (guessing Navigation as well). I have a Raspberry Pi 5 (CanaKit) with PiOS pre-installed on an NVMe SSD.

Once those 2 things are figured out I'm pretty darn happy with this!

I have the sound working!!! (I had to override the hardware settings and let the software handle it.)

The only question I have now is the widget one for making the Android Auto widget be full-screen (and how to exit the HUDiy app if it is)?
