AA 3 sec playback

AA playback is 3 sec audio, 3 sec no audio, repeat - when using amp hat. Normal playback when routing audio out through bluetooth, any ideas?
Edit to add: playing audio from phone to Hudiy, (no AA) same thing occurs.
Edit2: if playing music via bluetooth to Hudiy and i exit Hudiy, the audio still plays and it doesnt stop anymore.
Edit 3: seems to be a virtual sink issue, if when i select the amp hat as the output sink from the desktop audio gets louder and the playback is proper. Once i enter Hudiy, the playback get quieter - all volume levels stay the same - and the playback stops and starts again.
