Hello,
is it possible to add extensions from the Chrome web store (or even from manual file installation) to the Chromium web view? More specifically, I am trying to install uBlock Origin and some other extensions to create proper ad-free YouTube and YT Music web views.

Unfortunately, the Chromium Engine version used in Hudiy is highly stripped-down to ensure it consumes as few resources as possible. While it includes all the features required for HTML and multimedia rendering, it lacks typical browser features.
If you are thinking about ad blocking, it might be possible to do it at the DNS level, similar to other Raspberry Pi projects.

Thank you for the fast response. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure that YouTube's ads cannot be blocked at DNS level. I have a Pi-hole server at home and I still need an extension to block ads on YT. I'll figure something out.
