RetroPie uninstall

Fantastic, thank you. Slightly of topic, but i had retropie installed and decided i wanted to change directions. I uninstalled it and now AA loads a black screen. it seems to register touches and it plays audio and is communicating with the hudiy now playing. I'm wondering if by uninstalling retropie some packages or files that were present before the install were removed. Is there a way i can check to see if the required files for AA are present or if i can force an update of the same version sort of like a dirty flash?

Hudiy uses hardware acceleration to render projections. Based on the RetroPie documentation, it has strong dependencies on things like Mesa (the graphics driver) and the entire video stack. It’s possible that the uninstallation messed something up in mentioned components. If you don’t want to reinstall the whole OS, you can back up your configuration (copy the $HOME/.hudiy/share/config directory somewhere else), then run the installer and the updater again to update Hudiy to the latest version. After that you can restore your configuration by copying it back to $HOME/.hudiy/share/config.

I completely reinstalled Trixie and Hudiy. Hudiy wont load at all, here is .xsession-errors. the splash screen loops and then kicks me out to the desktop.
