Thanks for sharing! This is awesome! This was a feature I had actually hoped had been included out of the box. The only additional thing I had to do apart from these instructions was setup a CRON job to get the python script to run on reboot. Without doing that the values were blank.

What if we just set the SD card or USB drive to be read-only? It's a reversible process and as far I've seen, hudiy still seems to work fine. Might be a quick easy way to prevent file corruptions.

I have no trouble connecting via SSH after already exiting hudiy. However, I am unable to connect via ssh when the hudiy hotspot is active, even when my mobile is connected to the same hotspot. Any ideas on what I'm missing please?
