I’ve had the same issue. It seems one of the main sinks gets blasted up in volume. I’m wondering if it’s late detection on the sound card front. How do i check this?

1. Set card profile
pactl set-card-profile alsa_card.usb-0d8c_USB_Sound_Device-00 output:analog-surround-51+input:analog-stereo

2. Enable upmixing in PipeWire
Modify or create $HOME/.config/pipewire/pipewire-pulse.conf.d/50-hudiy.conf file and add:

hi there after testing hudiy in the last few weeks i have recently developed an issue where carplay randomly cuts out. it isn’t the phone cutting out it’s the autobox device crashing possibly as i see the autobox icon dissapearing and coming back a second later.

any advice on this or how to ...

I use waveshares dsi displays, i have no issues with my 8 inch one. It’s plenty bright. however i do also have an anti glare coating added, which was a custom order

I added stuff to the hudiy start up .sh for the line python3 carpihat.py &

maybe you can try adding stuff there?
